HoodRich is a game on Robinhood Chain where players buy towers from each other. It opens on October 2. This guide assumes you have never played anything like it.
The idea in two sentences
The map shows 33 towers named after big companies, each with a price. If you pay the price, the tower becomes yours, and the next person who buys it from you pays 30% more.
What you need
- A wallet connected to Robinhood Chain
- A little ETH on Robinhood Chain to pay gas
- $RICH, the token all towers are priced in
The docs say ETH reaches Robinhood Chain through the Arbitrum bridge from Ethereum, or from an exchange that supports the chain.
Step 1. Get $RICH
Open your panel on the site. Enter how many tokens you want, check the price in ETH, and press Swap. The swap runs through Uniswap on Robinhood Chain without leaving the page.
Step 2. Read the map
Every tower has a dot. White means nobody owns it yet. Yellow means another player owns it. Green means it's yours.
Step 3. Open a tower card
Tap a dot. The card shows the owner, the current price, and the time left before the price starts dropping. That last number matters most. A tower with a fresh timer was bought recently. A tower with no time left is getting cheaper every day.
Step 4. Flip
Press Flip and confirm twice in your wallet. The first confirmation allows the game to take exactly the price shown. The second one buys. The official site never asks for an unlimited allowance.
Step 5. Earn and claim
While you own a tower, a share of every purchase in the city is added to your in-game balance. If someone buys your tower within 24 hours, you also receive what you paid plus 15%. Press Claim to move the balance to your wallet.
Three beginner mistakes
1. Buying the most expensive tower on the map. Each flip adds 30%, so a tower flipped many times needs a much bigger buyer next.
2. Ignoring the 24-hour clock. After it runs out, your price falls 10% a day, and you can get back less than you paid.
3. Expecting a guaranteed profit. Every payout comes from another player. The docs call HoodRich a game, not an investment.
Start small. The cheapest class costs 10,000 $RICH and earns the same rate per coin as the most expensive one.
